Sierra
Veil

Austin, TX
Est. 2021
4 piece

Sierra Veil makes the kind of music that sounds like driving through West Texas at 2am with the windows down — big, open, a little reckless. Formed in Austin in 2021, the four-piece has built a reputation on loud shows and louder hooks, drawing from 90s alt-rock, shoegaze, and the desert. Their debut EP Neon Dust caught the ear of KUTX and earned them opening slots for Spoon, Japanese Breakfast, and Built to Spill. The follow-up LP Glass Hours landed on Bandcamp's best-of list and took them on a 40-date run through the South and Midwest. They're currently writing album two and booking fall 2026.

"Satellite Weather" — Official Video

Directed by Marcus Cole · 2025

Sierra Veil makes guitars sound urgent again. Glass Hours is the best Austin rock record this year.

Austin Chronicle

Equal parts Sonic Youth and Wilco, with a desert-sun warmth that's entirely their own.

Paste Magazine

One of the tightest live bands in Texas right now. If they're playing your town, don't miss it.

KUTX 98.9

Neon Dust is five tracks of perfectly crafted alt-rock that refuses to sit still.
