01 Where the line is

What the free EPK builder includes: free that means something.

"Free EPK builder" usually arrives with an asterisk. One template until you upgrade. A watermark you find out about at the end. A fourteen-day clock that starts the moment you sign up. So here's the LiveEPK line, drawn plainly, no asterisk:

• Unlimited edits, and your data exports anytime. Anything you build here is yours.

The $5/month plan

• Your kit at your own subdomain, yourname.liveepk.com, with the badge removed. Your free link redirects there permanently.
• An email composer that drafts booking pitches with your assets pulled right into the message.
• An asset library so you're not re-uploading the same photo for the fortieth time.
• A booking page on its own link, the Marquee template, and click analytics.
• The printed side of the kit: a one-sheet PDF built from it, a song list with a saved setlist for every show, and a QR kit (table tent and sticker sheet for the merch table).
• Edits go live at the same link, instantly. No re-exporting, no v3-final-FINAL.

One plan, $5/month or $50/year. There is no second tier to decode. The one exception: the one-sheet PDF is also a one-time $15 unlock on the free plan, for a band that needs the paper and nothing else.

03 How it works

How to make a free EPK: twenty minutes, start to kit.

1. Sign up with an email. No card, no plan picker. You land in the editor.
2. Pick a template. Three layouts built for music, not adapted from a restaurant theme. Try all of them; switching is one click.
3. Drop your details in. Bio, streaming links (they embed themselves), photos, a video, press quotes if you have them. Every section is pre-built with a brief and an example.
4. Preview the real thing. The live preview shows your actual page as you type. On your phone it goes full screen, exactly what a booking agent opening your link would see.
5. Publish it, free. Your kit goes live at a generated link with a small LiveEPK badge. When you want it at your band's name, $5/month moves it from the number to yourband.liveepk.com, removes the badge, and redirects the old link.

04 The comparison

How free EPK builders compare.

Every EPK tool says free. What matters is what free gets you, and what going live costs. The short version of the landscape:
